hats off

I'm not a big fan of hats-- unless you're trying to protect your delicate complexion from the sun or your delicate ears from the snow. Otherwise hats look a bit "I'm trying too hard" (think fedoras and berets) or "I'm not trying at all" (think baseball caps and beanies).

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for experimentation. God knows I've tried the look myself. My favorite hat on earth is my 20s style felt cloche, but every time I wear it I just end up looking like Paddington bear. And have rather limited visibility to boot.

I appreciate what these fellas are going for though. They're having fun with fashion, which is the only fashion rule I live by. So I guess, hats off to them! ;)
