Isabel Marant's Fall 2011 collection won't hit stores for several months now, but you can get the look with pieces available now, or even by "shopping your closet" (a favored pastime of mine). Start with your softest, slouchiest boots--they don't have to be fringed but should look relaxed and worn in; any length will do. Show some leg or pair the boots with your skinnies for more coverage. Throw on a fringey boho top and keep layering with vests, sweaters, blazers, and/or ponchos. Top it all off with a shearling, fur, or chunky cable-knit sweater and voila! You are a tres cool Parisian girl channeling La Marant... and La Belle Sloane de Ferris Bueller (see previous post). Easy wasn't it?
