Suno Fall Fashion 2011
The title of this post may seem like an oxymoron: grandma and chic don't usually coincide. But that was exactly the case at the brilliant Suno show in New York yesterday. Baggy house-dresses, aprons, 70s prints, beehives, and muumuus sound so terribly wrong, and yet were all so perfectly right under the skilled craftsmanship of designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty. Quirky, unexpected, and elegant, Suno is fast becoming one of my favorite collections for fall.
